video-direction is a free Claude Code plugin that acts as the director for your brand videos. Run a 15-minute brand interview once, then every video you make ships in your look instead of the model's statistical average.
AI made video cheap enough to ship at volume. It did not make it yours. Prompt a tool for a launch clip and you get something competent and completely anonymous, because nothing in that minute made a look decision. The model shipped its statistical average and put your logo on it.
Run a whole content calendar that way and every clip drifts to the same fonts, the same motion, the same synthetic gloss. The brand you spent real money building shows up nowhere in the feed. A motion designer fixes this and cannot be justified for weekly clips. Shipping no video is the option most brands take instead. Neither works when the video is cheap and the look is the entire point.
Three moves put the director's seat back into the loop that one-shot prompting skips.
Run /brand-init once. A short taste-by-comparison interview, mostly A/B picks across world, type, accent, audio, and delivery, about 15 minutes. It writes your motion-brand.md, the single source of truth for every video, and renders one proof frame in your new brand so you see your look before you make a real video.
Ask for a video in plain language and point it at real content, a page, a post, a launch note. The director runs six stages with a gate at each one.
The look, the timing, and the sound become decisions you approve, not defaults the model chose. It can generate a voiceover and a music bed and mix them into the render, so the video ships as a film, not a silent slideshow. It directs. A local rendering framework does the rendering.
Every shipped video writes a row to your style-ledger.md. Video two reads it and varies the variant axes on purpose, so your feed stays on-brand without every clip looking like the last one.
The plugin directed this end to end in the Magnetiz brand. The world, the accent, the type, and the score all came out of the same /brand-init interview you would run.
// unmute to hear the voiceover and music the plugin generated
This is not a silent slideshow. The plugin generated the voiceover and the music bed and mixed them into the render. Run the same process on your brand and the output is unmistakably yours, not ours, and not the model's.
/brand-initThe brand interview that writes your motion-brand.md and renders a proof frame in your look.Run npx hyperframes doctor once and it names the exact fix for anything missing. The install copies everything into your own Claude Code config and runs against your own compute and your own Claude subscription. No account with us, no key handed over, no cost per video. A brand that looks like itself at volume is worth more to the whole field than a paywall would be to us.
motion-brand.md, and applies them to every video so your feed stops looking like everyone else's./brand-init interview builds your motion-brand.md from your own choices across world, type, accent, audio, and delivery, then renders a proof frame in that brand before you commit. Every later video reads that file, so the brand holds across the whole calendar.
Two commands inside Claude Code, then answer the interview.
Fifteen minutes later your brand is on the record, and every video you ask for ships in your look.
